The Perseid Meteor Shower peaked on the 12th August and I was sadly prevented from photographing the event because of the debilitating affects of moonlight and clouds. The astronauts on the International Space Station, up above the clouds, are unaffected by atmospheric affects and so had a ringside seat for the meteor shower. Luckily and with my recently completed radio telescope the LVST, I was able to capture the radio footprint of a number of meteors. As soon as I have the time I will update my LVST web site.
