Flaring Spots on the Sun's Photosphere

Not sure whether the bright spot at the end of the arrow is a solar flare or a facular/leaf‑like penumbral grain cluster, a small Ellerman bomb–type event, or processing/artifact from channel mis‑registration. Anyway, I was quite excited and fingers crossed it was any other than a processing artifact!

The above image was captured using specialist equipment and by an experienced solar astro-photographer.

DO NOT LOOK AT THE SUN OR POINT YOUR CAMERA AT THE SUN AS THIS WILL DAMAGE YOUR EYESIGHT AND OR DAMAGE YOUR CAMERA.
