Getting Seasonal 2016
The appearance of Barry in his garden office marks the beginning of each year's 'Christmas Celebrations'. We are never sure which day he is going to rock up but this year he made an early start on the 1st of December 2016. "Nice one Barry mate"
Wherever you are in the world and whatever your faith or lack of one, may Toot and I offer our 'seasons greetings for peace, well being, love and hope'.
Toot has decorated our DIY Christmas Tree and I have to say it looks very nice. The money we saved by not buying a new tree will be donated to UNICEF, to help ease the plight of Syrian refugees. As for our homemade advent calendar: each day, as we hang up a glass tree we shall donate £1.00 to Ronald McDonald House Charities, a wonderful organisation which helped our family when we were in need. If you have any spare cash this Christmas why not help these or any other charities to make a difference?
