to go when I piss and miss in the lavatory
Being a Cordon Bleu cook, a 24-7 laundress and up for fun on rainy days
Not losing
the plot when I adamantly refuse to wear my hearing aid for no real reason
Having to
repeat yourself over and over again ad infinitum because I’m deaf or just not
listening
Not killing
me when I forget to move the clean washing from the radiator in the kitchen
before cooking garlic
Doing labour
intensive jobs I don’t like and pretend to be crap at so I can spend more time fannying
about on computers

H2O eroding igneous and sedimentary rocks
Soaking my underwear and all terrain socks

Rainy damp days become rainy wet weeks
Swell fast flowing rivers, rills and creeks
Dripping, dripping, dripping
Dropping, dropping, dropping
Whilst we go walking, sailing and shopping

Will this soaking ever stop?
Does it ever stop raining here?
Whilst awake or asleep
I truly feel sorry for Lakeland sheep
